Camaro GS.R

The 2010 Camaro GS.R, is the Riley Technologies built, road racing version of the road going Chevrolet Camaro SS. In many ways the car remains unchanged from the one in your driveway or local dealership, as that is where our racecar started life. This car echoes the late 60's sports car racing where the Camaro was the star, in the hands of Penske and Donohue. The new Camaro looks to resume the successes of yesteryear, and that American muscle can compete with the world's best sports cars.

The obvious differences between the street car and race car, is the addition of racing specific safety equipment, including: full welded rollcage, Sparco racing seat and quick disconnect steering wheel and, Schroth racing harnesses. The engine is the same 6.2 liter LS3 V8, that comes standard in the SS model, it is sealed to ensure it is kept within regulations. The Gearbox is also directly from the SS trim road car, the Tremec 6060 is a staple in modern American sports car drivetrains.

The Riley Technologies Camaro is a production based race car designed to run in the Grand Am Continental Tire GS class in North America, and the European GT4 class in world competition. The car is tuned by Riley Technologies and optimized for the Continental Tire GS and GT4 rules.
