| Chris Mitchum Management • Team Principal With years of motorsport experience under his belt, from both sides of the pit wall, Chris has accrued a wealth of knowledge of the racing world and the makings for a great team leader. Chris is an accomplished driver with an impressive resume, including 2002 SCCS Champion, many visits to the SCCA run-offs, and runs in the 24 Hours at Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. He has also put his skill behind the wheel to good use, as a racing instructor for Skip Barber, BSR, Mercedes AMG Challenge, SCCA, NASA, and Lexus Driving Academy, to name a few. Other driving contracts include: Daytona Prototype manufacturer test driver, and Factory Five Challenge driver/coach. On the mechanical side Chris paid his dues by working as a mechanic and crew chief for a host of professional sports car teams and combined his talents to manage various efforts that include 24 Hours at Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring for: PMR, Marcus Motorsports, Jack Lewis Enterprises, Autometrics Motorsports, and many others. While working with Samax Motorsports and other top level teams Chris worked alongside many pro drivers in his career to include: Anthony Lazzaro, David Murray, Dario Franchitti, Milka Duno, Darren Manning, Tomas Enge, Marc Goosens, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Patrick Carpentier, Olivier Beretta and Ryan Dalziel. Chris has an inextinguishable passion for motor racing and his team, yet still finds quality time for his wife - Ann Harrison and two children, daughter Ann Claiborne and son Taylor McCullough. |
| Richard Mitchum Management • Crew chief Every organization has its anchor, its cornerstone. Long time crew chief, mechanic, instructor, and driver, Richard Mitchum, is certainly ours. A motorsports career that started turning wrenches in the '70's on Porsche racecars, and earning his first racing credentials in a Renault LeCar (Yeah, a LeCar) he has been quite active both behind the wheel, and behind the pit wall. Richard has been driving competitively for over 20 years on regional, national and professional levels, and has come away with many noteworthy achievements. After becoming 1987 SCCA MARRS ITA Champion, he set his sights on the pro ranks, where he drove in the Firestone Firehawk series, and the Motorola Cup, in a slew of production based race cars. He, too, has shared his talent as a racing instructor for: Skip Barber, Bell Driving School, BMW CCA, SCCA, and NASA. Working as a crew chief, IMSA, ALMS, Trans-Am, Rolex Grand-Am and Koni Challenge, have all been venues for Richard's talent of campaigning competitive equipment and continually running at the front of the field. Richard has also served as the Tech Chief for the Mid-Atlantic region of NASA and is the owner of Mitchum Enterprises, a street car repair operation. |
| Tom Bobbitt Management • Strategist/Engineer Tom has always been a car guy, even dating back to his teenage years when, he was rebuilding is blown Ford V8 on prom weekend to make the annual year-end beach trip. That might explain his 25 year love affair with motorsports, as a builder, an engineer and a driver. Once he began to get serious with racing, Tom started with early model Porsches and is still going strong his own 997 GT3 RS in PCA events. Tom's has provided his services to many teams and he has coached many drivers over the years. Tom is a past Porsche Club of America President of four years, and is a MoTeC certified data acquisition specialist. In his free time, he was an executive of IBM for over 30 years. There is no one who can read telemetry like Tom. |
| Charlie Atterbury Management • aka JD The man, the myth, the legend enjoys all things aviation, aeronautical, and meteorological, in addition to laying down the order of law on little league diamonds far and wide. Charlie uses his Kodak management experience, and meteorological background to serve as the team's official weatherman and voice of reason, pre-, post-, and during races. | Kevin Bobbitt Management • PR/Media Relations Kevin Bobbitt is the marketing and communications director for iRacing.com, since 2007, and lends his time and expertise to Mitchum Motorsports. His Above the Fold Communications firm handles all of the teams media and PR concerns both at the track and pre/post event announcements. He is a fan of anything powered by an engine. When not racing on iRacing or supporting Mitchum Motorsports, he can likely be found at the track or an autocross site in his Porsche 944S2. Kevin resides in New Hampshire with his wife and two boys. |
