Mitchum Motorsports is based in Virginia Beach Va., offering race car preparation and storage to both professional and club racing customers alike.

Driver Instruction
We at Mitchum Motorsports have a unique method of delivering truly tailored driver instruction for the hobbyist all the way up to the most developed racing veteran. With focus on making you an asphalt fighter pilot, by taking in the entire scope, and expanding on your current skills. Taking stock of that skill set, and performance, we evaluate what aspects of race craft we need to elevate to unlock your full driving potential. Using over 20 years on-track racing experience, coupled to right seat instruction, video imaging, segment timing, and data acquisition, we are prepared to help you qualify faster, understand and respect your equipment, better communicate setup, and find the mental and preparatory edge over the competition. Driver coaching can be conducted in your car, or one of the Mitchum Motorsports machines.

Race Program Management
Specializing, and winning, in endurance road racing has enabled us to tackle the most difficult of racing logistics scenarios. Having run a variety of events from frigid 3 hour enduros, to the prestigious Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, we have mastered the various demands and challenges that come with each individual event, and the inherent difficulties characteristic to all racing.

So no matter what your individual event or season goals are, we have the capacity to work with you, and extract what you aim to take away from a race weekend, on and off the track. Prior to the event, we sit down with clients and identify goals and the means to achieve them, then we plan every event to detail, from crew, transport, budget, and everything in between. When the weekend arrives, the planning finally gets put to execution, and with that you can expect full support, a comprehensive strategy, eager and skilled personnel, and performance tracking. Everything needed for a full "turn-key" race program, or just the means to support one you already have in place. When that green flag drops, you can relax and focus on the experience you came to have, race driving, and leave the rest to us.

Arrive and Drive
Racing just doesn't get any simpler for you, the driver, than joining Mitchum Motorsports for a race weekend. All you need is your driving gear, a smile, and an absolute desire for speed. With the planning and logistics out of the way, the time leading up to the race is truly all yours, allowing time for your life to continue without the added stress, and of course some time for mental and physical preparation. Since the car has been prepped and set up prior to arriving at the track, and continually maintained once it's there, Mitchum Motorsports keeps those always important quick hands on nothing but the steering wheel and the gear shift.

What you do with them out of the car is your business. payroll, lodging, catering, series politic are all the last things you as a driver want to have to deal with, we've been there, we know. That's why it is important to us to take care of all of those dealings for you so the only concentration you need is inside the helmet. One element that many racers and teams seem to have thrown by the wayside is that of a fun, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for you. TrackSide Support
No, this doesn't mean we drive the wrecker out to turn 5 and bring you back to the paddock, after you've run out of gas, or need a tire. Our support comes in the form of any and all preparatory and assistance at the track.

We offer a range of individual racing services that include transport and storage of racing vehicles or equipment. We supply the full gambit of necessities including: timing cart, tools, refueling equipment, nitrogen, pit stop needs, shelters, paddock transportation, and many others. We also can provide the manpower for fly-away crew and support, test day support, and of course all race weekend activity.

Our knowledgeable and skilled crew, are fully acclimated with the mechanical and race craft needs, and are among the finest in the business. They are also some of the fastest (air)guns and refuellers in all the pit lane. Being a hospitable bunch, we are also capable of providing catering and entertainment support, to the extent of your liking. Mitchum Motorsports is very attentive to detail, as one must be to succeed in motor racing, and by meeting with you and outlining those details, and creating a support program to be an exact fit for your effort, whether large or small, we can make your race weekend a little faster, and a little easier for you.
